Typical Chinese Wedding

When I got an invitation to a Chinese wedding, I knew I had to drag JP there for him to experience a Chinese wedding and the food. Despite him feeling very uneasy in a huge crowd, I think he coped well. Food was good and it was a lovely wedding. Delicious food was served to the guests. Of course, we had the toasting session. As usual, everybody tried to outdo each other by screaming the loudest – “YUMMMMM SENGGGGGG” (or as the German say, “Prost!“). I was almost out of breath at the end of the toast.

JP had the chance to try shark fin and the roasted piglet, the two famous ‘must-haves’ in a Chinese wedding dinner.

He was curious and he tried both the dishes. After having a taste of being a carnivorous Chinese, he felt bad. I guess it will be his first and last try.
